Thank you for your willingness to volunteer for NorCal Collie Rescue (NCR).  Your contribution is greatly needed to prevent these beautiful and gentle dogs from being mistreated and/or destroyed.  We need volunteers for all roles in collie rescue. VOLUNTEER HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:

I acknowledge that I am over the age of 18 years, and that I wish to be a volunteer for NorCal Collie Rescue (hereinafter, “NCR”), a nonprofit corporation based in California, and to assist NCR with its collie rescue operations (hereinafter, “NCR activities”), including but not limited to, retrieval of rescued collies from shelters or homes, transportation of rescued collies, fostering rescued collies, exercising rescued collies, grooming rescued collies, feeding rescued collies, staffing NCR booths at fundraising events or dog shows, and other duties benefiting rescued collies as directed by NCR officers or directors.

I hereby assume the risk of injury or death sustained in the pursuit of and while engaged in NCR activities, and do hereby release, and hold harmless, and forever discharge NCR, its officers, trustees, directors, employees, consultants, agents and any other entities associated with NCR, of all claims, suits, demands, costs, and expenses, including legal fees of every kind and nature, arising out of, or connected with my volunteering, for any personal injury, death, disfigurement, paralysis, or damage of any kind sustained and suffered while in the pursuit of and engaged in NCR activities, or while using equipment belonging to or rented by and for NCR.
